Mystery Photos of the NP
In each issue of the Mainstreeter, Bill Kuebler introduces an NP photo without caption or identifying data which is repeated here with a very high resolution photo showing more information than possible in a printed photo. It will be up to you to figure out the basic what, where, when, and sometimes who of the photo. Readers will then have until the next Mainstreeter issue is published to solve the mystery by answering all the questions

Thompson NP Photo Collection
Hundreds of vintage images by Steve’s father, Frank Thompson an NP Tacoma Division conductor and Tom Miller, an NP engineer, both top notch photographers. In addition, there are Steve’s own images, starting in the mid 1960's and images from Jack Anderson of Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad fame. Jack unknown to most folks, was a serious student of photography.  When Jack took on the restoration of steam locomotives full time, he gave Steve all his images.
