Purpose:                       To provide overnight freight service from Duluth to Staples and intermediate stations

 

Schedule:                      Lv. Duluth                                8:30 PM Day 1

Lv. Brainerd                             1:30 AM Day 2

Ar. Staples                               2:30 AM

 

Duluth:                          Receives from connections and industries.  Handles loads for St. Cloud and Forsyth, Montana; handles loads and empties for intermediate stations Superior to Staples, including branch lines.  Handles empties for St. Cloud to Staples and beyond.

 

Superior:                      Receives from industries, including coal for International Falls.

 

Brainerd:                      Delivers to 621, 622, locals and industries.

 

Staples:                        Delivers to 605, locals and industries.

 

Note:                            Will handle iron or from Ironton to Staples for furtherance to Twin Cities.
