Tacoma Division Local Train Brief

Train: No. 1187 Auburn to Bellingham, 2^nd, 11^th, 5^th, 13^th, and 15^th Subdivisions

Frequency: Daily except Sunday.

Purpose: Perform through train service and picks up at switches at Snohomish, Arlington and Sedro Woolley; picks up northbound business at Bellevue, Arlington and Sedro Woolley; sets out connection cars for Everett at Snohomish or Arlington; sets out local destination cars at Snohomish, Arlington and Sedro Woolley.

Traffic Handled: Various types of traffic including GN and MILW (Mt. Baker Plywood Co.) interchange traffic at Bellingham.

Schedule: On duty Auburn at 10:15 AM. Tie up upon arrival at Bellingham. Return to Auburn the following day as No. 1186.

Terminal Handling Connections: Connects with 1/679, 685 and 2/679 as well as traffic received from the east and others at Auburn.

Restrictions: Bridge and engine on the 2^nd, 5^th, 11^th, 13^th and 15^th subs.

Head End Blocking: Station blocking Bellingham to Bellingham.

Miles: 10.8 Auburn to Black River. 24.5 Black River to Woodinville. 13.4 Woodinville to Bromart, 19.9 Bromart to Edgecomb. 41.0 Edgecomb to Wickersham. 20.4 Wickersham to Bellingham. Total 130.0
