Idaho Division Local Train Brief

Train: Nos. 1132 - 1131 Yardley – Coeur d’Alene Turnaround Local

Frequency: Daily except Sunday.

Purpose: Performs switching at Irvin, Trentwood, Otis, Orchards, Velox, Hauser and all stations on the Coeur d’Alene Branch.

Traffic Handled: Various loads and empties for Velox and Coeur d’Alene Branch; cement, chips, lumber, aluminum, paper.

Schedule: On duty 7:30 AM Yardley, Monday through Saturday.

Connection: Connects with Northern Pacific No. 600, 610 and 606, westbound 607.

Terminal Handling: Handles all cars into Yardley, aluminum blocked.

On-Line

Performance: This train supplemented during peak periods by chain gang crews.
