Fargo Division Local Train Brief

 

Train:  Chain Gang Nos. 947-948-949-950 (12th and 13th Subdivisions)

 

Frequency:

947-948           Mandan – Nott On Tuesday and Friday handles local business between Mandan and Nott.

949-950           Beulah Turn                  Mandan to Beulah and return on day to day basis as necessary.

 

Traffic Handled:            947-948           On Tuesday and Friday handles local business between Mandan and Holt.

949-950           On Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, handles local business between Mandan and Beulah, including any cars of coal and coal empties from Beulah and Glenharold.

 

Schedule:                      Depart Mandan 8:00 AM and returns from Nott to Mandan about 6:00 PM, on Tuesday and Friday.  Leaves Mandan 7:00 AM, returns to Mandan about 8:00 PM when operating as Beulah Turn.

 

Terminal Handling:        All cars destined for local points out of Mandan are blocked in station order.

 

Restrictions:                  See Special Instructions.

 

Grouping:                     Loads made up from head end in station order.  Empties are in one block.

 

Terminating connections:  Cars of coal arriving Mandan on Beulah Turn connect with Train 700 out of Mandan, daily except Sunday.

 

Inasmuch as this is a chain gang assignment, the schedules shown are estimated as crews will be called as needed.
