Comments
Yellepit is between Tomar and Hover, 15 miles south of Kennewick in southeast Benton County. It was named in honor of a chief of the Walla Walla Indian tribe. The name dates back to Lewis and Clark when they were in the area and were impressed by his and his influence. No post office. Benton County, Washington (S8, T6N, R31E)
