North McNary is between King and Berrian, on north bank of the Columbia River near McNary Dam in south central Benton County. In 1947, this delivery point for construction materials was established when work on McNary Dam started. It was named by railroad officials McNary Dam, in honor of Senator Charles L McNary of Oregon, a statesman and a conservationist. No post office. Benton County, Washington (S.9, T.5N, R.28E)
