Comments
Badger is between Erie and Rome. Badger, Badger Canyon, Badger Flats and Badger Springs were named by the Northern Pacific Railway Company in 1883. The name comes from spring water found flowing from a badger hole. The small settlement had a school in 1907 and later a store and a post office between April 6, 1912 and October 15, 1917. Not to be confused with Badger in Douglas County or the one in Whatcom County. Benton County, Washington (T8N, R28E)
