No Logon Required
You
never need to enter your username and password to use the NPRHA Research site.
The operating system used on NPRHA.org has a number of administrative controls
that are exposed to all users, but are only used by administrators to add
information to the site. Unfortunately,
the controls can not be hidden.
- If you are asked to enter your username and
password: Click Cancel
and then click the Back button to return to where
you started.
- To save an image from the site: put your cursor in the middle of the image you
want to save, right-click and select Save Picture As, and save the
image in a folder on your computer.
- To save text from the site: highlight what you want to save,
right-click and select Copy, and save the image in a
word processing document on your computer.
Some
of the documents on this site have been posted in their natural word processing
formats and can be hard to open depending on the setting of your browser and
the word processor you are using. If you are challenged to enter a username and
password when trying to open a document, just click Cancel each time the
Logon window comes up until it no longer appears. It normally take five to eight clicks to get the window to go away, but
then you are free to read and print the document.
